Easter Egg Hunt

We had a great time looking for eggs, bunnys, and whistles (thanks for the whistles, by the way). Definately a great Easter! Thanks Jenna for taking so many pictures!

The Most Awesome Park!

The slide was a little too fast for Jakie, we found a smaller one later.

Aunt Jenna found this awesome park, and took us to it over Easter weekend. It was very busy, and the water fountains weren't on, but other than that, it was great! My kids loved it. The rubber bouncy ground was MY favorite part.

Considering Going Private

I'm thinking about making my blog private. Let me know if you are interested in being invited!

The Easter Bunny!

The Easter Bunny found us, even at grandma's! Brooke was so excited to find her basket...OUTSIDE!

Feeding the ducks...well, the geese.

A relaxing trip to the duck park...not so much. The geese were a little aggressive, and it turned into a histerical, terrifying event for a bunch of little girls! It was funny though.

Notice the feet inching their way up the back of the bench.

Fun In The Pool!

Coloring Easter Eggs

On Friday we colored Easter Eggs with Grandma and the cousins.

Now that is a lot of eggs!

A Play Date!

It's always a party when we have people over. And parties always need pictures!!

Jenna...this is all I had!

Nobody does it like a Grandma does it!

Okay, so Saturday, I asked Brooke and Brielle what they wanted for lunch. Princess Sandwiches. (Or Princess Sticks, not sure what they are really called, they weren't my invention, but Grandma's.) So I asked Brielle how to make them. She said they just have ham and cheese. So I get out two pieces of bread, and the questions start. Why do you have two pieces? Are you making one for you? No. So I ask, does she put mayo? No. Mustard? No. Miracle Whip? No. Ranch? No. No sauce? Yes. Just ketchup mom. I talked her out of ketchup, and into mayo, don't know why, I'm not a mayo fan, but I did. Okay, problem solved! We put on ham, and cheese, and ...heaven forbid! A TOP! NOOOOO! Princess Sandwiches don't have a top! So, off with the top. So, I know Princess Sandwiches are cut, but, as I quickly learned NOT IN A TRIANGLE, like this mom! (hand motion) Too late, they are already in a triangle. So I give them to them. But mom! Princess Sandwiches don't have sides! Cut off the sides! So off with the sides. And finally, a huge sigh from Brielle..."Mom, do you know how to make Princess Sandwiches?" No, I have absolutely no idea how to make princess sandwiches. They looked at eachother and slowly ate my failed attempt at Princess Sandwiches. I started making myself a sandwich, and Brooke asked me what kind of sandwich I was making. I told her a Grumpy Old Troll sandwich and she told me I can't eat a grumpy old troll sandwich because trolls have sticks in their noses. Where in the world is Grandma when we need her!!!

We Love You, Grandma!!!

Tagged

My sister-in-law tagged me. I've never actually responded to a tag before, too lazy I guess, sorry! But this one sounded kindof fun. The idea is to post 10 random, yet favorite pictures found on your computer. It was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be. Too many cute pictures to choose from! Thanks Mary Ann!

I Know...I Know.

I know, you are so so so sick of my rambling about how so so so sick of the snow I am. There is really nothing else to write about. We're surrounded by it! I got a comment on my last blog, and someone has their front yard back! I'm so jealous. As of today...yes it is March...this is the view from my driveway...Look left...

Look right...

The backyard is just as bad. How nice would it be to see grass! And it looks like such a warm, sunny day outside...it's not...9 degrees this morning, and at noon it had only gone up to 22.

The Sky Is Falling! The Sky Is Falling!

It happened again. Provo Canyon. Awhile ago my sister was driving down Provo Canyon and she hit a rock...midair...and it went right through the grill of her car. Right into the radiator. Then Charles hit a rock in Provo Canyon and it took the bottom of our car out. Not to mention it happened the same day we registered it. Both of these cars ended up with Kidney Kars. Well last Saturday, as we were driving to Provo to do some shopping, a rock came flying out of the sky and slammed right into the hood of our car. So, Provo Canyon has contributed 2 cars to the Kidney Foundation, and that is just from our family. Well, they're not getting mine, but wow, it makes me mad!! I guess it is life! Wrong Place...Wrong Time! Add to that the rock my dad hit on his motorcycle, and the luck in our family is pretty bad!
