A new Young Woman and her first Girl's Camp.

It's Birthday Weekend!! Brielle's 12th birthday was on Monday, but she left for Girl's Camp that morning so we celebrated all weekend instead. On Saturday we made a full circle through Park City, around to Cabelas, and then to Costco. We pretty much shopped the day away. Charles bought a new Traeger at Cabela's so we came home to put it together. He jokes that Brielle got a new BBQ for her birthday. Haha! We went to Culvers for lunch.

That night we watched a movie together as a family. On Sunday after church we had shish-k-bobs, and then it was present time!

She got a new hydration backpack and a sleeping bag.
She chose brownies and ice cream instead of a cake.
We spent the rest of the evening packing for camp and building Jacob's boat for cub scouts. On Monday morning we got up bright and early and I took Brielle to pick up McDonald's for breakfast. Then I dropped her off at the church to leave for Girls Camp! It was sad to not spend her birthday with her, but she had so much fun at camp! We snuck some presents into her bags so she could find them throughout the week.

Off she goes!

They were at Heber Valley Camp and I stole all of these pictures from people's social media.

I'm so happy that these wonderful people made Brielle's 12th birthday and her first Girl's Camp amazing.

It is definitely summer!

What says summer better?!

Sprinklers Under the Tramp
Soccer Camp
Hammocks and Friends
Otter Pops
BBQ Ribs
Eating Outside
Sleeping on the Tramp
Waffle night outside with the Scouts.

Sleeping in your undies under the fan going full blast with no covers. And yes, we have air conditioning and we use it. This kid hates heat more than anything else on earth.

Bee's Game!

On Friday, the 26th, we went down to the Bee's game. We got there pretty early so we did some of the activities out front.
Jacob
Caleb
They had a car crash simulator so we tried it out.
It looks like we were the first ones there. Haha!
What's a baseball game without a hot dog?
He was hot. And when he is hot he runs his fingers through his sweaty hair and then it looks like this.
Ice cream time! We only buy it to get the helmet it comes in, but the ice cream is a definite bonus.
It was so fun to spend the evening as a family.
