Gymnastics

The girls started gymnastics at the rec. center at the end of October and are loving it. They have new teachers this year and they are "boys"! They have been doing a lot of new things they haven't done in the past, it has been fun.

We are really trying to work on coordination. My girls take after me, but they are getting better! Brielle can almost do a cartwheel. I've never been able to do one of those!

Crazy Hair Day

For Red Ribbon week the school had backwards day, you know, turn your back on drugs. Brooke wore her shirt inside out and dyed her hair, Brielle wore her shirt and pants backward and also dyed her hair. Awesome. Their parts are still pink, I can't get it out.

Uncle Joe brought a girl here that same day and I'm pretty sure we made an awesome impression.

Disneyland!!

So, I'm going to let the pictures tell the story for this one, I uploaded about a million. And they are all in random order. We spent all day Thursday, the 6th, in Disneyland. Friday we spent in California Adventure, and then back to Disneyland on Saturday. Here goes!

Here is Uncle Joe on It's a Small World. It was his favorite ride. I'm pretty sure we went on it 3 or 4 times just for him.

Pluto. Jacob's there, he's just more focused on hugging him than on the picture.

Toon Town

Alice in Wonderland. Check out how short that girl is!!

Brielle, Grandma and Grandpa

The tea cups, my very least favorite ride. I totally got out of it this trip. Awesome! Joe said Caleb about lost his lunch at one point.

The Pixar Parade in California Adventure

Waiting for the parade to start. Brooke made a new friend who loved cotton candy...

More tea cups

The monster! Love Jacob's hands in this one.

The new Ariel ride, we really liked this one.

Brothers

My boys with Buzz

We really wanted a good picture of the kids in front of the castle, but apparently Jacob didn't care. He was falling apart. Nice.

Brielle had her eyes on this horse with the bells the entire time we were in line. She made it her own personal mission to get it. And she did.

Still crying...

The sword in the stone

We wore grandma right out.

My favorite picture of the entire trip. We took it right as we were leaving on Saturday night.

My family

I love grandma's face in this picture. Love. it. We had to wait a really long time for World of Color to start, and we were tired. It was worth it though!!

Ariel

Tarzan's Tree House

Caleb in Mickey's House

The Balch Family, minus 2

Waiting in line for Pixie Hollow

We needed a rest so we hoped on the train.

We also had a snack while we rode around Disneyland.

The Haunted Mansion, the Halloween decorations were incredible.

Jacob loves easy cheese

This kid loved every single minute of this trip.

Mickey Ice Cream, their dad spoils them rotten.

Yes, that's a Red Bull. But before you call CPS it's okay because it was gone and Joe poured Diet Coke in it instead.

Winnie the Pooh

A whole lot of tired people.

My second favorite picture of the entire trip. Check out Grandma's face!!

Saturday night we had a once in a lifetime experience. We were able to have dinner in Club 33. I know, you've never heard of it. It is a private club for members right inside Disneyland. It is in New Orleans Square. Charles was hooked up by someone with a membership, and luckily they had an opening for us. The way it works is you get into the park "for free" you just have to spend as much on your meal as an entrance ticket would cost. Which was not hard...The "kids meals" were $60 plus $6 for a souvenir cup. They only charged Caleb $10 for his meal because he gets in the park for free. So, yes it was pricey, but such an awesome experience. Brielle ate it up! Her and Brooke both got Fillet Mignon for dinner. This is the children's dessert. Now, as you know, my kids are gaggers. So we are in this fancy fancy restaurant, and Jacob tries his Mickey Mouse cake...and it was gross. He started gagging and I had visions of him hurling in Club 33. Luckily he contained himself and now every time he sees this picture he talks about how yucky it was and how he almost puked. Ugh. Anyway, totally awesome experience!!

Brooke and Brielle's souvenirs. They have all the big Barbie sized princesses and were so excited for them all to have kids! Now we have to buy a big Pocahontas, we are missing her.

Sunday morning we were up and on our way to St. George, we spent that afternoon and Monday morning just chilling. Charles played a little golf on Monday and then we were on our way home. And our kids were exhausted. It is a rarity for Brielle to fall asleep in the car and when she does she refuses to admit that she did. Now I have proof! And I love the Mickey ears in the background. Until next year!!
