Swim Banquet

Swim season for the girls ended while we were on our trip. They had to miss the region meet which was pretty sad for them. They didn't swim at state but had fun cheering on their teammates. On February 25 we went to their banquet. They had a nice dinner and honored all the swimmers. The girls both lettered and it was fun for them to see all their swim friends.

The Juniors

The Sophomores
It was such a great season. I'm so glad my girls have such great coaches and friends that they have made through swim.

Basketball and a Few Random Pictures

On February 15 the boys played in the tournament for the Wasatch Back League. Both of their teams played in the Wasatch Back and Bantam leagues and Jacob played with a South Summit team in a league in Salt Lake. It was a lot of basketball and we all loved every minute. For this tournament they each played 2 games and all 4 were in Heber which was so nice.

Caleb's first game was played against the other Wasatch team his age and they came out with a win.

They played North Summit in the championship game and also won.

Champions!!

This was a super fun little team.

Jacob started the day off playing against North Summit. They won and played against South Summit in their championship game, which they also won.

Champions!!
I am super proud of my basketball boys. They both made the top team in their age groups and had a great season. It's always sad when it's over.

My Briellee, love this girl.

I stole this picture of her with her CAPS group from somewhere. She has really loved that class.

Valentine's Day came and went with only one picture. I went to lunch with Charles, we had pizza for dinner, and then we went to the High School basketball game. It was a nice chill day.

Headed Home

Saturday the 8th we were up early to get ready and finish packing. We went to Royal Court for one last big breakfast all together. Then it was time to disembark. It went very smoothly, we walked right off, went through customs, picked up our luggage and it was over. So sad! We had to wait outside for a little bit for the van to arrive and it was so cold! The driver showed up and we were on our way to the airport. We set up camp in a pretty busy section of the airport at first, but the kids were entertained by these droids and the escalators and Disney shops.
We had all day to wait, so after Matt and Jenna headed out we moved downstairs by the rental car counter where it was a little quieter. We had Panda Express and Chik-fil-a for lunch while we waited down there, and the kids got some homework done.

Once it was late enough that we could check our bag and get through security we made our way to our gate. I finally got pictures of us in our new spirit jerseys, but we were all so tired by this point that they didn't turn out very well. It had been a long day, okay?

After about 9 hours at the airport we finally boarded our flight to Salt Lake. We were on the same flight as Doug and Wyona, and Richard and Suzanne, which was nice. The flight went fine, we picked up our luggage and then had to play a little musical cars to get our car and the Balch's from Joe's but we made it home in the early hours of the morning and crashed. What an awesome vacation. I hate it so much when great vacations come to an end.

Castaway Cay

Friday morning we got up early, had a quick breakfast and were one of the first off the ship in Castaway Cay. We had plans for a full day of sun, sand, snorkeling and beach time. It really was our only beach day this trip and we were all looking forward to it. We noticed the crazy wind the minute we stepped off the ship. Hoping it would die down we walked over by the water slide and found some chairs and umbrellas and set up camp.

The kids jumped right in the water. I don't know why this picture is like this, but at the very tip top you can see Brielle, Brooke and Jacob swimming.

The swimming didn't last long, and due to the wind they weren't letting anyone snorkel.

We sat on the beach for awhile.

And everyone went down the slide a few times.
We even watched a little wedding next to us on the beach. Around lunchtime Grandpa and Suzanne decided they wanted crab for lunch on the ship so they headed back. We went to lunch on the island and while we were eating the rain moved in. It was a downpour!

The boys escaped the rain by playing some ping pong,
and then we hit up the gift shops. In the craziness of the rain and finding the right size of shirt for Brooke I forgot to get my Castaway Cay mug. I'm gonna have to go back!

The weather didn't seem to be letting up, so we headed back to the ship. We stopped along the way to take some pictures. The professional ones we had taken never came through so this is the best we've got.

It really is such a pretty island.
Pretty much as soon as we were back to our room the sun came out. We enjoyed it from our balcony. Every day on Castaway can't be perfect I guess, but we still love it.
We were on the opposite side of the ship this time so we could see all the operations on the dock. It was pretty cool. We missed all of that on the last trip, but if I had too choose I'd probably choose the island side next time.

We took a little extra time that afternoon to shower and get ready for dinner. We all wore our Disney shirts for the last night and met up early for some Mickey shirt pictures.

Grandkids

Dinner was at the Royal Court and it was lobster night!
After dinner we went to the room to start packing and then we went to the show. It was incredible. Once our suitcases were ready and in the hall I went to the gift shop with Brielle and then we played shuffle board for the last time, and I got a great video of Mickey and Goofy giving the boys a high five.

We walked around the deck, and fell asleep watching a movie in our room.

Our last towel animal.
