Well, I have no pictures to prove it, but we had another fun weekend in St. George. I love long holiday weekends. It was the Parade of Homes, which I look forward to every year. So this year, as we were walking out of a multi million dollar, brand new, gorgeous home (no one else liked it but me, it wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't worth puking over), Brooke lost her lunch all over the sidewalk. Would I not have just absolutely DIED if she had puked inside of that house! I'm still counting my blessings! Needless to say, it ended our house looking for the day. Some wierd stomach bug made us all feel a little yucky all weekend, but not enough to make us not enjoy it. Sorry Balch family for making you sick! Charles got a couple of rounds of golf in, and we did some shopping and ate way too much. No swimming this time, but I'm sure we'll be back! Get the pool warmed up!

Get the pool warmed up!So today I learned something interesting. Caleb came down with a weird yucky cough a couple of days ago, so of course, because he is only 7 weeks old, I panic about RSV. Every mom panics about RSV right! So I take him in, and they tell me...he has RSV. Scary right, no, not scary. He has a cough...sleep him up right, he's stuffy...use a humidifier, use saline drops, suction his nose out, make sure you keep his fever down (he doesn't even have one,) make sure he's eating and pooping, if he stops eating and pooping, and he can't breathe take him in. Otherwise nurse him through it. Sounds like a plain old baby cold to me. So why in the world do they call it RSV? He said that because of the time of year it is, and because his sister has a cold, and because he is a baby, and because the testing for RSV is so "barbaric" that they don't test for it. They just assume that is what he has, and write it down on a paper for you to take home. Your kid has RSV. So, does anyone know the difference between a baby cold, and RSV, or is RSV a baby cold? Don't get me wrong, I'm not downplaying actual RSV because I know it is very dangerous and scary, I just wonder why they throw the name around so loosely! Anyway, he does have a nasty horrible cough, poor little dude!
