A great end to an amazing vacation!

Saturday, September 24th was our last day in Orlando. Our flight didn't leave until the evening so we had the whole day to play. We slept in for a little bit, and then Charles took the kids to the pool. There were 3 pools at our resort and we hadn't had a chance to swim in the one that was closest to our villa, so he took them down to try it out. While they were gone I got all the suitcases packed and cleaned up the condo a little bit. When they came back we headed to the front of the resort, dropped off our luggage, and went to the main pool where we spent the rest of the day. We were all pretty exhausted and I can't tell you how nice it was just to lay in the sun by the pool and watch the kids swim. We picked up lunch at the snack bar by the pool. Joe and Jordi took their boys, hopped on a shuttle and went to shop in Disney Springs. Doug and Wyona rode the boat there and had a nice lunch. We kept the kids at the resort with us to let them finally get their fill of the pool.

There were showers and dressing rooms by the pool, so when it was time to go we cleaned everyone up for the trip home. The bus that came to pick us up for the airport was a Disney Cruise Line bus. If only we were headed there! Oh man. We have got to do that again.
We boarded the bus, but soon realized it wasn't going anywhere any time soon. They were having some issues with the bus so we sat there for an hour in front of the resort. We started to get a little nervous about making our flight.
Saydee got a great nap though.

We ended up making it to the airport just fine, and Caleb took a minute to organize his new pins on his new lanyard. He's decided he is going to join the Disney pin trading craze. Funny guy.
The flight home was uneventful.
Everyone was so sad that our vacation was over, but we were tired and ready for our own beds. We couldn't get there fast enough! I think I'm going to really like this Disney Vacation Club thing. We had an awesome vacation and cannot wait to go again.

Day 5: Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Back to Epcot

On Friday, the 23rd, we got up and hopped on the shuttle to Epcot. There were more rides there than I thought there would be and we had a great time.

When we got there we went straight to the new Frozen ride, and it was super cute!
Then we headed over to Test Track. We designed our cars and then we got to race them and have our pictures take with them. Saydee was my partner, and our car was awesome!
We covered all the rides that were on our list, and then stopped for a quick lunch.
And maybe a Mickey Bar and a Diet Coke.
At that point we decided to board another shuttle headed for the Animal Kingdom. Saydee had never been to a zoo before so we thought it would be fun. We loved it!

We went right for the Safari which took us around to see a ton of animals.

After the Safari we walked around to see the reptiles, birds and monkeys.

Look at this cool pineapple!

Jacob found some cool drums.

After checking out all the animals we went on some rides. The water ride wasn't great, which was disappointing because we were dying of heat, but Mt. Everest absolutely made up for it! Then we decided it was time for an ice cream.

Before heading out we stopped for some pictures by the "Tree of Life".

Grandma and Grandpa decided to take Isabelle and Saydee back to the condo for a rest, so we headed back over to Epcot to meet up with Joe and Jordi. We discovered Flavors of Club Cool where you could sample all these weird soda flavors. The kids loved it! They didn't want to leave!

We walked around to all of the countries which we had skipped in the morning. It was kind of crazy because it was the Food and Wine Festival, but it was still fun to walk the circle. We found a nice quiet little alcove to have a snack. We found out after we got home that there is a DVC member lounge with couches, pop, and games at Epcot that we could've hung out at. Next time for sure!

Joe and Jordi, and maybe a weird guy taking a picture of them. Haha! Not really,
I think he's taking a picture of the little train track
After we finished walking the park we met back up with Grandma, Grandpa, Isabelle and Saydee. We had to take them to the soda place!
We found a nice spot to watch fireworks and settled in. We had a couple of kids that got a little antsy waiting so Jordi and I discovered this awesome Mexican "It's A Small World" in the back of some weird pyramid restaurant building. It was amazing! I think we went on it 3 times.

Then we picked up some yummy Mexican churros and watched the firework show.

Once again we ended the day happy and exhausted. We loaded back up on the bus and headed back to our room for dinner and bed.
