Disneyland!!

We had a great time in Disneyland. We spent 2 full days back and forth between Disneyland and California Adventure, and by midnight the second day, we were exhausted. The girls loved the teacups, the carousel, and of course seeing all of the princesses in real life. Jacob mostly loved eating junk day in and day out. Charles' favorite part...let's see. Of course he loved seeing the looks on his little girls faces when we ran into the different princesses, and he didn't mind checking out the princesses either. I liked the electrical parade the best. It has always been my favorite. Most of all, we just loved spending tons of time together as a family. Charles' parents were able to go with us which was a huge help, and we loved having them along. Their favorite part, probably sitting with Jacob and the stroller since that is basically what they did the whole trip, but we appreciated it! I will tell you. I am a HUGE vacation person. I'm already ready to go back. It was hard to pick from a million pictures, but hopefully they won't bore you too bad!

The Beach!

I guess I should finally write about our vacation. We took so many dang pictures that the thought of it kindof overwhelms me. So...I'll split it up! The day that we went to the beach was not exactly a warm day. And wow...it was windy. But we loved it anyway. I tried to keep Jacob from getting wet. Did a good job, don't you think? Oh well.

Brooke and Brielle loved trying to run away from the waves, and most of the time they were able to do it.

We were able to watch a guy catch a 4 ft. long leapard shark off the pier. It looks small, but once they got it up on the deck, wow. I wouldn't have wanted to run into it swimming around in the ocean. It was cool to watch.
And a family picture. We're lucky we weren't blown off of the pier. It was fun to be at the ocean again. I love the ocean. I could've stayed there all day.

I'm Getting OLD!

My husband brought me flowers...so sweet. Brooke asked him if he would bring her flowers on her birthday too. Of course he said yes. Brielle then said that's what she wants for her birthday. And you thought buying flowers for one girl was bad. They are cute, they are constantly climbing up on the table to look at and touch all of the different flowers, and they are watching to make sure all of them eventually "open." Brielle is also very concerned about what they will EAT, because we only gave them water to drink.

This is my new bed set that Charles picked out all by himself. Did a good job, didn't he?!

I even got to go to dinner with my entire family, minus Blake, Mary Ann and Tori, who live a little far away. It worked out that Nolan was home from Logan for a night, and Anne and Brok were staying at my dad's that night so they could leave for their summer in Texas the next morning. It was nice to see them all. We miss you Nebraska people! And good luck Texas people!! Oh, and to Nolan and Dad, have a good Harley ride down south. Man, it makes me want to go on an adventure.
