April 29th was Caleb's school program. He did an awesome job, and even had his grandparents there to watch. I have a great chicken costume that Jacob wore, but Caleb refused to wear it. He looked cute anyway, and he sang his little heart out.

Fashon Show
My girls were looking through my dresses and decided they wanted to try some of them on. It was fun but also freaked me out a little. Some of them actually fit Brielle! It makes me so sad that they are getting so old! In 3 short years we will start buying their dance dresses. Crazy.
My wedding dress:
My Prom Dress:
I'm not really sure which dance this dress was for, probably Homecoming or Preference.
So crazy. And as sad as it is that they are growing up, it is so much fun at the same time. I sure love my girlies.

Spring Soccer 2016
Right after Spring Break the boys started Spring Soccer!
Jacob did awesome this year. Soccer is not his favorite sport, he really prefers basketball, but he gave it his all and had fun! He even earned some cash scoring goals.
He's pretty fast when he turns on his "after burners".
Somehow I missed getting any action shots of Caleb, but he did awesome as well. This kids loves soccer. He had a blast.
Every year I swear we will not do spring soccer because it is always freezing! And yet we always do. This year was no exception. It was cold.
These two boys were lucky enough to get to go out to lunch with dad. I sure love by boys!

Spring Break 2016
We decided to stay home for spring break this year. We tried to stay busy, but we definitely would've rather have been on vacation! On Monday it was Caleb's day to make the plan. We went to Provo to see the movie Zootopia. It was very cute. Both girls had already seen it, but they didn't mind watching it again.
That night was the College Basketball National Championship game. I am happy to report, I won the Balch family bracket. We picked up some chicken with Winger's sauce and had a nice night watching basketball together.
Tuesday was Brielle's day, and her one request was to go to Quench It. The boys didn't want a drink so they opted for a huge donut from Days instead. We wandered around Wigglish and spent the rest of the day chillin at home. It was a pretty lazy day.
After lunch we went to the park to fly kites. The turtle flew great, but we really struggled with the Star Wars kite. We got it up once, but only for a few minutes. Long enough to get a picture though!
After wards the kids played with the sidewalk chalk and we had Café Rio for dinner. It really was nice to have a day at home just hangin out.
Wednesday Jacob requested that we go swimming at the Kamas Pool. He was hoping they would set up the obstacle course again, but they didn't. We had fun playing anyway. We stayed for about 3 1/2 hours, which was way too long for the girls. On our way home we stopped for ice cream. I failed to take any pictures, but it was an enjoyable day.
Thursday was a work day! Grandpa came over to help me build a ramp up to the shed in the back yard. Caleb was a big help outside, and Brooke made snickerdoodles and grilled cheese sandwiches to keep everyone's energy up. Pretty sure Brielle and Jacob hid out and enjoyed a quiet day.
We had a nice lunch out on the deck.
We also broke out the otter pops,
and the nail polish.
Friday morning we were up and at em again, working on the ramp.
We finished up around lunch time, so Brooke requested we go pick up Arby's for lunch. Then we spent the afternoon playing with friends.
Saturday morning we slept in, and had every intention of doing yard work all day. The kids had other ideas and suggested the zoo. Charles hadn't been to the zoo in years, so we went for it. I think we made it all the way through in and hour and a half. Haha!
Jacob and the new baby giraffe, Willow, born in January.
This ostrich was doing some major showing off.
This orangutan had a little baby with it too.
I thought the days of riding on dad's shoulders were over, I guess not!
We got to see the new baby lion cubs on the train ride.
At school Jacob just finished up a research project on Lions, and he is really interested in them right now. He chose a lion toy from Wigglish, has been sleeping with his little stuffed lion, and was dying to go see a real lion at the zoo. We had to keep going back to look at them. He was excited to get some good pictures.
We had a great time, and the weather was awesome. We stopped by Wendy's on the way home and were still home in time to clean the stake offices and do a little yard work. We had a nice spring break, and everyone was very sad to go back to school today.
