He's 11!!

Caleb's 11th birthday was pretty exciting. He had so much family over that made him feel so loved. Sometimes Sunday birthdays are little uneventful, but his was perfect. We had the traditional donuts before church. After church Anne's family and my dad and Suzanne all came over. Blake's family was already here. They had spent the night. We had a nice big prime rib and ham dinner all together. We really missed Nolan, Germany is a long ways away.

Next up...presents.

He's been begging for Beats. Finally!
Cake Time!!

After the birthday shenanigans were finished Charles broke out his vamped up Nerf gun and let the kids try it out.
And Tori showed us her River Rats skills.
That night everyone headed home. It's always sad for me when family leaves. I love family get togethers. It was fun to spend some time with all of them.

Family Cabin Trip Day 2

Saturday we spent all day playing in the snow and being lazy in the cabin. And of course eating more junk. Mary Ann, Maesa and Ellery came out that morning.

This is one of my most favorite cabin pictures of all time. Grandpa broke out the old toboggan and the kids loved it.

This is Blake's family headed out for a ride.

Blake dumped Mary Ann. I could've told her that would happen. I don't ride with him anymore. The snow was soft, so she was fine.

Not the smartest move by Jacob, but it wouldn't have been the first time he's fallen through the ice on Strawberry.

The little kids could have spent the whole trip just sledding down the little hill by the garage. They loved it.

We headed back to Heber just before dinner and met up at our house for pizza, some visiting, and a little Nerf war.

I'm pretty sure Toby won...

Family Cabin Trip Day 1

Friday, the 27th, after Charles was done working for a little bit in the morning, we packed up, grabbed Subway, and headed to Strawberry. My dad and Suzanne, and Blake and Tori were already out there. We had lunch and chilled for a bit.

We also took the opportunity to recreate this cute picture of the 3 girls again. Love them. They are all one year apart.

Blake the Ninja

Caleb got pretty good at driving his own snowmobile this trip. Charles even let him pull him on the tube.

We took a nice ride down to the lake. Normally it is frozen when we go out, but not this time.

That evening Anne and her family arrived. We had the traditional taco salad for dinner.

This girl snuck away to play with Charles. She's the cutest.

We drank plenty of soda.
Played games.
And ate treats.
And Caleb had a lesson on stoking the fire.
The rest of the evening we spent catching up.

We put all the snowmobiles away and headed to bed.
