My Little Sleeper

For some reason Jacob has been able to fall asleep anyhow, anywhere lately. It's been funny to watch. While we were in St. George his grandma had him and he started nodding off on the kitchen stool during dinner. She had to catch him before he fell off. The other day he fell asleep in the car, which is normal, but after we got home he stayed asleep forever. I went out to take a picture and he woke up. Today he fell asleep in sacrament and slept on the bench through Sunday School.

Notice the half eaten cookie that fell out of his hand.

Wii Fit

My kids are really loving the Wii Fit. They fight over who's turn it is...so the other day, it was Brooke's turn and I looked over and saw this...Jacob had gone into the girls room, found a lid, and made it into a Balance Board.

Just another example of Brooke's organizational obsession...

The Bonfire

Every year we have a bonfire in my dad's field in Midway to burn the old dead trees. This year is was pouring rain, and very muddy, but we made the most of it! It was fun. This video is one of the Sobe bottles exploding. It is a little boring at the first, but hang in there, Nolan gets pretty excited towards the end.

After the traditional Taco Time for lunch, and a relaxing afternoon, we had dinner at my house, and then we got a workout on Wii Fit. Talk about a good laugh. We had a great time...here is Rich doing the Hula Hoop

After carrying the chair up the stairs, and stealing the last cookie (which was VERY old, by the way), he dumped a whole pile of dirty laundry down the stairs. While I was picking those up he turned on the dishwasher. I think it is safe to say that I have completely lost control of this kid. Boys!

29 Baby!

Thanks everyone for the blog and Facebook birthday messages! You made my day! I had a great birthday this year. Charles took all of us to lunch at Chili's. While we were there we decided going out to eat with 4 kids isn't very relaxing, so he is taking me to Carraba's tonight (thanks Camille!) While we were in St. George he kept the kids so I could go shopping for new b-day clothes, but he let me wear them on Sunday, so he "couldn't" give them to me for my birthday. So after lunch the kids and I spent a few hours at a great park, and when Charles got out of work he took me shopping for new kitchen rugs, sunglasses, and flip flops. Oh, and some Pixos. So I got spoiled once again. We came home and had cake. Thanks Chuck for a great birthday!
