So, it's been awhile since I last posted, mainly because our lives have been boring! I did find a couple things in my camera to write about though! First of all, I ran my 2nd 5K on March 19th. If you remember, my first was on Thanksgiving, when it was negative 10 degrees. This time it was a little warmer (not much), but incredibly windy. I swear I'm still digging dirt out of my eyes! I tried to sprint at the end, and I was running into the wind, so I seriously was not moving at all. So frustrating! I did do a little better this time though, not quite as embarrassing as the first time. Somehow though, I need to pick up some speed! My one goal for Ragnar...not humiliate myself! I did run 5 miles on Saturday for the first time ever, so I am improving a little. I still have two months, right?! Anyway, this is the only picture I have. Later that day Ella had her Harry Potter birthday party. We spent the afternoon at party stores searching for costumes and this is what we came up with. Ginny and Moaning Myrtle. Awesome. They had a great time at the party, and were even able to attend Ella's baptism this past Saturday. They are lucky girls to have such a great friend!

On the 25th Brooke had her 1st grade program. She was pretty upset that she had to wear the same cowgirl hat Brielle had worn, but I think she looked cute. And she did a great job. I got to see it twice, and loved it both times.

That night we had a slumber party! Tori and Maesa were here from Minnesota and they got to sleep at our house! We had a great weekend with them, but I only took one picture. The pizza party. We had pizza, and watched a movie, and played played played. We certainly wish these cute girls lived closer!!

The next night we had a family party at grandpa's house, and Sunday, a dinner party at our house. It was a crazy busy weekend, but we loved having so much family here!!

For April Fool's dad brought home Tangled. He told the kids it was date night for mom and dad, and he popped popcorn, got out the theatre candy and Sprite, and told them they had to go play in their room during our "date." As soon as the Disney music came on at the beginning of the movie they came running out. April Fools! We had a great family movie night. Two days later they decided they needed to watch it again, so they got out their tv trays and their candy and it was movie night again.

Other than that, the past month has been full of nothing but sick!! Chuck missed almost a solid week of work home sick, and Brooke missed about that much school. She called home from school twice having "lost her lunch." She made it to the garbage the first time, but the second was right in the front office. Charles picked her up and said it was pretty humiliating having to walk right past them cleaning it up. TMI, I know. Anyway, it was a long month of fevers, chills, sore throats, headaches, and major horrible coughs. Brielle seems to be the only one that has yet to get it, and she had her turn before the cruise, so hopefully once the lingering coughs are gone, we will be done with this nasty virus!!

In other news: Jacob is still as crazy as ever...
